The Grand Castle Hotel Xi'an has been re-opened after 6 months of renovations. A member of Summit Hotels & Resorts, it positions itself as 'the most luxurious independent 5-star hotel in China's ancient capital'.
The hotel was designed in the style of the nearby ancient City Wall. It has the tallest atrium lobby in the city.
The 10-storey building is in Xi'an city centre convenient to shopping malls, offices, historic sites and famous scenic spots. There are 298 guestrooms and 40 suites, all with Chinese style furniture and folklore art, broadband internet and 32-inch LCD televisions. Other features are a lobby lounge, business centre, hotel shop and a grand lounge for executive floor guests. The two restaurants in the hotel are the 'Yue Chinese Restaurant' and the 'Verandah Cafe Restaurant'. There are six banquet rooms with 440 sqm of ballroom, hospitality and MICE events.
