Scottish produce is the order of the day at one of the Capital’s favourite restaurants which has overhauled its popular dining menu to celebrate more quality cuisine than ever before.  
The Restaurant at The Bonham Hotel has unveiled its new seasonal menu to offer it’s home-grown and international diners a taste of Scotland’s world-renowned larder.


Making full use of Scotland’s finest ingredients, the menu features a range of favourites - freshly caught cod with Shetland mussels, scrabster hake fillet– alongside new standout offerings including barbary duck breast, heritage pumpkin cannelloni and succulent fresh steak cuts from the Scottish Borders  

The delicious dishes, which are set to impress both guests and visitors to the hotel’s restaurant, were designed by head chef Marco Nobrega.  

The Bonham, located in the city’s Drumsheugh Gardens just a five minute walk from the city centre attractions and offers a high-end boutique dining and chic hotel experience led by general manager, Douglas Campbell.  

Marco Nobrega, head chef at The Restaurant at The Bonham, said: “I wanted to create a seasonal menu for spring filled with food that we love to eat – hearty, comforting, dishes with an emphasis on great Scottish produce. We are very lucky to have such a diverse larder here in Scotland so it was important to make the most of what is on our doorstep.   

The menu combines some of our most popular dishes with a host of exciting new additions and twists on our favourite meals, all reflecting our passion for classic food done well.  I look forward to welcoming diners in the coming weeks to celebrate spring with us.”

Paired with beautifully fresh light sides, the restaurant’s crowning dishes will be dappled with vibrant colours and bursting with fresh flavours, bringing a spot of sunshine to Drumsheugh Gardens this season.  

For sweet-toothed foodies the restaurant’s passionate chefs have also prepared a delicious dessert menu including indulgent salted caramel tart with peanut butter ice cream and baked apple and rhubarb with vanilla honey yogurt.  

Douglas Campbell, general manager of The Bonham, added: “The Restaurant is already a popular hangout for friends, couples and colleagues looking for a quick lunch or leisurely dinner. The new menu gives our returning diners something else to look forward to on their next visit, as well as giving people who have never experienced The Bonham before the perfect excuse to plan their visit.
