Champneys introduces innovative Bamboo Massage
World-renowned health resorts Champneys, leader in health and beauty treatments, has recently unveiled a new alternative to the traditional massage – the Bamboo Massage. Available at all four of Champneys beautiful health resort locations, the massage is the perfect way to relieve tight muscles caused by stress, exercise, injury or even just sitting at a desk all day. This specialised treatment uses silky bamboo canes and special bamboo oil to stretch and massage the body, giving a deeper, firmer massage than a regular deep tissue treatment. With the use of the bamboo cane, guests will feel a release of muscle tension and tightness, improved circulation and increased lymphatic flow to aid detoxification.
The silica rich bamboo oil has both anti-irritant and healing properties that leave the skin feeling extraordinarily silky smooth. This exotic new treatment has revitalising and regenerating effects on the body that will both stimulate and renew, it also helps activate reflexology points to improve flexibility, balance and inner wellbeing.
Nestled in the beautiful English countryside, Champneys Tring is well-known for its medical offerings as well as extensive spa facilities. With spa therapists trained to world-class standards, Champneys delivers treatments that address every aspect of health and well-being, using only the finest products from prestige beauty brands, as well as Champneys own exclusive range.
The 55-minute Bamboo Massage costs £65. An overnight stay at Champneys starts from £129 per person.
