Opus One launches its new seasonal menu
Experience the decadent, bold flavours in Manchester’s opulent foodie destination, Opus One, located in the award-winning Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel, Manchester. Opus One offers guests something a little different with its seasonal menu changes, something that is favoured by Head Chef Neil Armstrong, to accommodate the abundant seasonal and local produce, which is key to this restaurant’s menu offering. Opus One is at the forefront of British fare in Manchester; bringing a modern twist to classic British dishes.Starters of Line Caught Wild Cornish Bass & Smoked King Prawn, served with shallot and gravalax marinade, Spiced Rice, Haddock and Chilled Squid, served with curried mayonnaise, or Layered Duck & Foie Gras Pancake, with crispy duck skin and Stornaway aioli will definitely leave you wanting more.
To follow is a selection of mains that each offer a perfect arrangement of unique flavours - dishes include Fillet of Cheshire Beef, accompanied with a Cumbrian ham fritter and potato puree cannelloni, Seared Cornfed Chicken, served with chorizo wine pudding, and Organic Framgord Shetland Salmon and Lobster, with champ potato and leeks & verge. Vegetarians and meat-eaters alike can enjoy the rich flavours of the Wild Mushroom & Cheshire Brie Turnovers, with a veloute of spiced courgette and roasted chantenay carrots. All dishes are served with herbs sourced from the hotel’s rooftop garden.
The desserts menu offers diners indulgent delights including the Manchester Tart, served with an iced Vimto parfait, warm Eccles cakes, clotted cream and a Manchester smoothie. If you are looking for something fruity the Morgan’s Rum Soaked Baby Pineapple, served with Mojito sorbet and pineapple crisps is perfect. Complete satisfaction can be found in the mouth-watering Marbled Iced Chocolate Parfait, served with a warm fondue of chocolate and skewers of flamed cognac marshmallows.
