New British hotel group Puma Hotels' Collection launches in the UK
Puma Hotels’ Collection has launched successfully in the UK encompassing 21 four star properties from Edinburgh in Scotland to Torquay in Devon.Jane Rawlinson, Head of Marketing & E-Commerce says; “In such an exciting year for British tourism, we are delighted to have successfully launched new British hotel group Puma Hotels’ Collection, following the smooth handover from Barceló UK.”
“The new brand will focus on the unique characteristics and location of each hotel, whether through the local cuisine, the grounds (particularly in the case of the flagship countryside properties), or the nearby facilities and attractions”, says Rawlinson.
With more than 2,800 bedrooms and around 20,000 square metres of conference and meeting space, Puma Hotels’ Collection offers extensive facilities for both corporate and leisure guests, as well as unparalleled weddings services.
Whilst many of the properties have major architectural and historical significance such as the esteemed 16th century The Lygon Arms in the Cotswolds, others offer a more contemporary style with outstanding multi-functional events spaces, such as the Hinckley Island Hotel in Leicestershire.
Whether leisure of business focused, each property is quintessentially British in character, with its own unique charm.
As part of the new launch, Puma Hotels’ Collection has pledged its commitment to high levels of customer service, together with the continued development and improvement of the 21 properties. To outline this, from 1st May 2012, all properties will offer guests complimentary Wi-Fi access - an initiative that has been developed in direct response to customer demand.
This first move will no doubt be welcomed by conference delegates and leisure guests alike and marks the first step forward for Puma Hotels’ Collection in the UK.
