Ulusaba has an ‘i’ for technology with its bespoke iPad concierge app for guests
Guests staying at Ulusaba in South Africa can now experience a unique personalised concierge service via in-room iPads. Selected rooms and suites in Rock Lodge will have an iPad loaded with a bespoke app developed by Gourmet Pixel for Virgin Limited Edition to enable guests to make the most of their time at Ulusaba. The app is an interactive concierge with information about the property, the Game, the Rangers/Trackers and features in depth information about the area, as well as interactive games for the kids.
On arrival guests can consult their pre-booked activities and spa treatments to help them plan their time and make the most of their stay. A message centre will keep them up to date on dinner plans each evening and any other news from around the property such as wake up calls, what’s happening that day, suggested clothing to wear on game drives. Guests can also use the app to email postcards to their friends and family at home and leave any feedback on their stay for the team.
Janet Hoolohan, Sales & Marketing Director for Virgin Limited Edition, said: “This bespoke iPad app is a fantastic way for our guests to gain a full overview of what services Ulusaba offers in an easy and engaging format. We hope that our guests will enjoy using the app.”
