New restaurant and bar on offer for Leeds Marriott Hotel
Leeds Marriott Hotel has undergone a £500,000 transformation of its bar and restaurant this spring, creating a vibrant new destination for delegates who want to enjoy Leeds in style. 1871 Bar & Lounge, which is named after the year that the historic building first opened, is the first non-Marriott concept bar in any UK Marriott Hotel.Major changes to the space include a new entrance to the bar on Boar Lane, a freestanding centre bar, new seating and standing areas and a vibrant new colour scheme. Pop culture artefacts combine with contemporary furniture to create a blend of old and new, and an airy, artistic atmosphere. The Marriott Hotel restaurant has also been refurbished, and has become a Midtown Grill steakhouse.
The new refurbishment makes the Leeds Marriott Hotel the only hotel in Leeds with four different catering options for delegates. The menu choices now range from steak or seafood at Midtown Grill, locally inspired fare in 1871 Bar & Lounge, Indian at the Marriott’s in-house Indian Restaurant AM Kitchen & Bar, and room service. All of these options can be billed back to your room for the utmost convenience.
Leeds Marriott Hotel has a choice of 18 meeting rooms, offering 702 sq. meters of total event space, with the largest, the Thomas Ambler Suite, accommodating up to 300 guests. From large suites to small boutique rooms, all conference rooms have high-speed internet access, audio-visual equipment, copy and fax services. The Marriott also offers a business event planning service to co-ordinate events from start to finish, so that you can put your feet up and explore the new bar and restaurant.
