The Champagne Afternoon Tea Set includes 8 kinds of sweets, 4 kinds of savories, selections of tea or coffee and two glasses of Pol Roger Champagne or Champagne cocktails priced at TWD 2,800+10% for two.Bar at YEN of W Taipei a sensually designed bar area adorned with sleek marble and intricate lanterns set against purple wall tones. Guests can not only appreciate the design and enjoy the time in Bar at YEN but also able to gaze over the sparkling Xinyi district and the amazing Taipei mountain range. The best view in town becomes your backdrop when savoring the afternoon tea.
W Taipei’s Sweetologist Chef Ponytail never hesitates to mix the classical with contemporary styles. He infused tea into the western pastry such as Jasmine Tea macaroon, Pu-er tea macaroon, Matcha bonbons. Yuze mousse and Lavender pudding are taken the acidity of fruits and flower to provide a refreshing taste in a more creamy dessert.
You should never walk away from YEN’s Chinese restaurant without having the most popular and signature Chinese pastry - YEN’s Famous Egg Tart. The creamy custard and the crispy crust of the egg tart bring together a perfect balance within just one small bite. Chef has also brought the Chinese savories to a higher level by integrating luxurious ingredients into a dishes, such as Lobster truffle dumpling, Hokkaido scallop Caviar steam eagg and Salmon caviar sandwich.
