Topland acquires the Royal Crescent Hotel, Bath
Topland Group, one of the largest privately owned international investment groups has announced the purchase of the stunning Royal Crescent Hotel in Bath.The Grade I Listed exclusive hotel is steeped in history and is located at the centre of one of the world’s most widely recognised architectural landmarks – The Royal Crescent. The hotel is the epitome of elegance and has a reputation as one of the world’s finest, providing fine hospitality in an unrivalled setting. It offers 29 individually appointed bedrooms together with 16 suites and the luxury Bath Spa House.
On 30th March 2012 Topland acquired the hotel from the Administrators of von Essen and have appointed Vision Hospitality Asset Management Limited, to manage the operations of the hotel on its behalf.

The Royal Crescent hotel, a member of the prestigious Relais & Chateaux collection of hotels, experienced its best ever year in terms of occupancy in 2011 and has made a strong start in 2012. Sharon Love, General Manager of the hotel, says; “We are very pleased to be at the start of a new and exciting chapter in our history and delighted to be able to move forward after an uncertain 12 months. We are very grateful to our clients, guests, suppliers, local businesses, club members, press, etc., for their continued support.”
