Healthy ‘Banquet Menus’ offer balanced meals for group meetings at Kimpton Hotels nationwide
With a dedication to wellness and healthy living, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is expanding its healthy food and drink options at more than 50 hotels across the U.S with new wellness-inspired menus for group meetings. Available immediately, groups who book their events with Kimpton can select from three menus designed by Kimpton’s award-winning chefs that offer lighter options and nutrient-packed meals for breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks, which were created to maximise participation and creativity at conferences and meetings.Bringing a boost of energy to the boardroom or a moment to unwind amidst the meetings, Kimpton’s new ‘banquet menus’ feature mindful meals, inspired snacks and enlightened enhancements designed to bring the spirit of wellness to life. While every hotel has its own variation of wellness menus, each offer up to three options for fueling up, energising and unwinding. For instance, just a few ways Kimpton can customise a group gathering might include:
• Relaxation Menu: Start with an antioxidant-packed Acai Yogurt Granola Parfait or escape to the tropics with Tropical Fruit Kabobs with Cayenne Honey Yogurt. Feel good about feasting on an array of Farmer’s Market Fresh Salads before easing into a White Peach Guava infused Iced Tea and aromatherapy in the afternoon.
• Energy Menu: Guests can rev up with a selection of lean protein options such as an Egg White Frittata with Sausage, Avocado and Salsa Fresca for breakfast, grab a guilt-free, flavour-packed gazpacho for lunch and snack on Baked Pita Crisps with Olive Tapenade before a quick yoga break.
• Longevity Menu: Begin a balanced day with Crispy Courgette Toast with Cured Salmon for breakfast, Asian-inspired lunch dishes including Marinated Kobe Beef and Lettuce Wrap stations and channel your zen state with a mini meditation session and Tea Samovars.
“Taking care of your body and soul is as important on the road as it is at home, which is why we focus on providing our guests in our hotels and restaurants the best options for eating healthy to feel well and maximise energy,” said Niki Leondakis, President and COO at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants. “These new offerings help give our group guests even more delicious and fresh options to fuel up for an action-packed day.”
In 2011, Kimpton partnered with renowned health and nutrition expert Joy Bauer to introduce healthy in-room dining options that include seven nutritious and energising in-room meals that are available all day, under 500 calories and created by chefs at Kimpton restaurants nationwide. Additionally, Joy Bauer also stars in Kimpton's four complimentary on demand “Travel Healthy” videos titled Healthy Breakfast, High Energy Snacks, Tips for the “Morning After” and In-Room Workout. Today, Kimpton continues to expand health and wellness offerings at hotels and restaurants across the country.
