IHG launches the most powerful website guarantee in the industry
Today, IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) launched the Best Price Guarantee programme for guests booking through any IHG branded website. If guests find a proven lower room price on any other website, they will get the first night of their stay for free and the rest of their stay will be lowered to match the price found. IHG is the first global hotel company to offer this price commitment to its guests as part of the new Book With Us Advantage programme. To celebrate the launch, IHG is offering 250 free hotel room nights through Twitter from now until Saturday 24 September. To enter, guests can follow @PriorityClub or visit www.priorityclub.com/hotels/us/en/global/offers/bestpriceguaranteetweet. Each day 50 room nights will be awarded.
Matt Luscombe, senior vice president, sales and marketing, Europe, IHG said “When guests book our hotel rooms, they want to know they are getting the best possible price and also the security of booking with us directly. We’re so confident we can deliver the best room prices through our websites that we’ll match any lower price guests find elsewhere online and give them their first night for free.”
The introduction of Best Price Guarantee as part of the new Book With Us Advantage programme, demonstrates how IHG is leading the way when it comes to online booking. In 1995, IHG became the first hotel company to make it possible to book hotel rooms online. In 2002, it launched the Lowest Internet Rate Guarantee, which is the foundation for the Best Price Guarantee promise.
