Battle the bulge, cleanse the body and realign the internal balance with two new highly comprehensive Detox and Nutrition programmes now available at leading health retreat, Grand Resort Bad Ragaz in Switzerland. Home to an on-site Medical Health Centre, Bad Ragaz offers the very latest in cutting edge health and fitness programmes utilizing the newest findings in health technology.Regenerate body and mind through holistic cleansing and detoxification with this comprehensive new programme. Ragazer Detox works by strengthening the immune system and activating new power, energy and vitality by cleansing the body in a targeted manner. Physical and mental balance is fine-tuned by dissolving metabolic blocks and restoring the metabolic balance of the body.
Led by experts Dr Christian Hope and Dietician Yvonne Von Salis, the personally tailored 7 day detox programme consists of the following steps:
• Thorough medical history examination
• Analysis at a specialist detox laboratory (of toxins produced by the body and foreign toxins)
• Body composition measurement (body fat and muscle mass)
• Liver ultrasound
• Cleansing of the digestive tract
• Analysis and evaluation of current dietary and liquid consumption patterns
• Planning of personal detox diet and detox wellbeing-treatments
• Progress consultation and recommendations by a qualified dietician
• 3 detox infusions as required (individually tailored) • Concluding medical consultation with doctor and nutritionist (discussion of all investigative results and advice on how to maintain and boost general level of health)
• Personal health dossier
• Personal guidance during the programme
Participants will be set a detox diet for the duration of the programme, including a daily Ragazer detox drink, a specially formulated “Cuisine Equilibrée” menu each day during the cleansing and rebuilding of the intestinal flora, and daily detox tea.
The programme is complemented by a well-being programme which includes lymph drainage, medical full-body massage, daily Kneipp therapy in Ragaz thermal water, tailored sauna treatments, daily fitness and relaxation classes, and four “Ericson” whole body tautening treatments.
The Ragazer Detox programme costs €6,296pp and involves a minimum stay of 7 nights. Arrival day is Sunday throughout the year. Price excludes accommodation – participants receive a 10% price reduction on all room categories.
Lab-based Nutrition & Training
Counteract nutritional deficiencies with this tailor-made dietary and metabolic programme. State-of-the-art metabolic diagnosis leads to a personal lab-based nutrition plan, designed to maintain a “steady state” metabolic balance. This special diet is combined with a precisely targeted personal training programme to maximize benefits.
This 10 day programme includes:
• Thorough medical history examination
• Dietary history examination by nutritional scientist Dipl. Ing. ETH Christof Mannhart
• Body composition measurement (muscle mass, fat mass, water distribution)
• Cardiovascular function check-up (resting and stress ECGs)
• Liver function check (laboratory and ultrasound)
• Physical capacity assessment (strength, stamina, mobility, whole body stability)
• State-of-the-art metabolic diagnosis as a means of assessing existing dietary habits and personal nutritional status (deficits and excesses)
• 2 infusions aimed at individual metabolic optimization
• Tailor-made personal training by proven fitness specialists (4 x 50 min.)
• Dietary and nutritional plan based on the medical history and laboratory results, taking individual daily routine and personal objectives into account
• Concluding consultation
• Personal health dossier
• Personal guidance during the programme
