Museum of Original Figurines is opening at the end of September 2011

Brussels is the capital of comic strips. Opening 28 September 2011 is the Museum of Original Figurines (to be known as MOOF). It is not to be confused with the city’s Comic Strip Museum, which has been a favourite visitor attraction and event space for some years.

Brussels sees the figurines of Smurfs and suchlike as ‘little works of art’ and the city is confident it will appeal equally to young and old – and will be a popular location in which to hold corporate functions.
