Celebrations for Cambridge Hotel awarded Gold for the fifth consecutive year

An independent, four-star hotel based in Cambridge has been awarded for the fifth consecutive year the Gold Award for Quality in Tourism (QIT) – an assessment service for VisitEngland.

Hotel Felix based off Huntingdon Road, Cambridge are delighted to have received a Gold award from the QIT scheme, which VisitEngland refer to as the ‘Best of the Best.’

This recognition showcases excellence within the accommodation and tourism industry and highlights to guests – old and new – what they can expect in terms of quality and service.

Shara Ross, General Manager for Hotel Felix, comments: “The team and I are over the moon to have received the Gold award for the fifth year in a row. Everyone here is incredibly proud of the hotel and are keen for our guests to experience this passion when they visit us.

“This award is a real honour to receive as it shows recognition for our continued hard work in maintaining an excellent quality of service for our guests.”

In addition to the Gold Award, Hotel Felix has received a VisitEngland Breakfast Award, which recognises breakfasts that exceed guest expectations by rewarding excellent range, presentation, quality of ingredients and service.

Quality in Tourism (QIT) is the official assessment service provided for VisitEngland. The standards that QIT assess have been created as a result of harmonising standards from the National Tourist Boards for England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland and also with the cooperation of the AA.
