Multiple successes across its brands for ibis, Mercure, Novotel, Pullman and Sofitel in prestigious awards voted for exclusively by the publicAccorHotels, the world’s leading hotel operator, has won eight awards at the British Travel Awards 2016 (“BTA”) across its brand portfolio from economy to luxury segments. Wins included Gold awards for ibis as the Best International Economy Brand and Sofitel as the Best UK Luxury Brand.
The British Travel Awards are solely decided by votes from the public. This year over 333,000 consumers registered to vote, placing a total of over 1.3 million votes and opinions across the BTA voting categories and Travel Vision survey which runs alongside it. The votes and processes are verified by Deloitte to ensure their integrity and transparency.

The awards were presented at a glittering ceremony on 23 November at Battersea Evolution, London.
