Old Town Chambers, a prestigious collection of award-winning luxury five star serviced apartments in the heart of medieval Edinburgh, has scooped the Best Interior Design award at the inaugural Serviced Apartment Awards held in London.
Old Town Chambers beat off stiff competition against other serviced apartments in London and Australia to claim the accolade which was created for and by the serviced apartment, aparthotel, extended stay and short term rental industry.

Gavin MacLennan, General Manager at Old Town Chambers, said:   “To win this award is a real honour for us, especially as we were up against other serviced apartments in the UK and globally.

“We are still relatively new having opened in the summer of 2013, but to be recognised is testament to the success of our product. We are unique in the fact that we have both 15th and 21st century elements and our soft furnishings are bespoke sourced from local Scottish companies complementing the detail of the interior palette of finishes and material. Not to mention we have some of the best views of Edinburgh to really captivate our guests, which is why they keep coming back.”

In 2015, a further 14 apartments were added to Old Town Chambers, bringing the total to 50, ranging from studio apartments through to a stunning modern three bed penthouse and Townhouse with exposed stone walls and art work, giving not only a nod to its historic surroundings, but a place of luxury and comfort for all guests.
