The accreditation is based on the VenueVerdict customer feedback survey that BDRC Continental issued to all of the venue’s clients to gauge levels of satisfaction.
The Gold Standard Accreditation is given to those properties recording a Net Promoter Score of +70 or higher from 40 or more client responses in the twelve month period October 2013 to September 2014. The score is based on the clients’ ‘Likelihood to Recommend’ a venue so a high score suggests high client satisfaction with a venue.

For the period in question, VenueVerdict featured around 370 participating meeting venues and hotels in the UK and Ireland. The results were derived from a fraction under 22,500 individual pieces of feedback.
