Pegasus now connects to Doha and Athens

Pegasus has launched new routes to capital of Qatar, Doha, and capital of Greece, Athens, from June onwards at prices staring from just £98 and £47 respectively

Pegasus Airlines, Europe's fastest growing airline, has just added Doha and Athens to its roster of destinations, open for booking now, meaning that it now flies to 71 destinations in 29 countries, bringing the number of its international routes to 42.

Finnair unveils second plane in special Marimekko livery

The design collaboration between Finnair and Marimekko enters a new phase as Finnair brings textiles and tableware designed by the iconic Finnish design and fashion house to its aircraft starting May 15. As an emblem of the cooperation, a Finnair Airbus 330 was unveiled today with a blue-forest livery based on the Marimekko print Metsänväki (“forest dwellers”). The plane will fly from Finnair’s Helsinki hub to the airline’s 13 Asian destinations plus New York, joining a sister aircraft painted in Marimekko’s Unikko (“poppy”) print last October.

‘World’s best airport’ launches SITA’s next generation self-service and passenger processing technology

Global IT and communications provider SITA today announced a major partnership for innovation with Changi Airport Group (CAG), which manages Singapore’s Changi Airport. The project was implemented in a record five months in which both organizations collaborated to introduce the latest passenger processing and self-service technology in close cooperation with airline and ground handling partners.

Oman Air and Boeing boost job prospects for Technical College graduates

Oman Air has joined with Boeing to run a training and recruitment skills programme for graduates of the High Technical College in Muscat.
The programme aims to raise the capabilities of new graduates and give them the skills and information required to prosper in today’s job market and work environments. It targets 120 young Omani students.
