ABTA – The Travel Association today responds to a speech by Jeremy Hunt, Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport on UK Tourism, outlining a number of initiatives aimed at supporting domestic and inbound tourism in the UK.

In reaction to the speech made by the Secretary of State, Jeremy Hunt MP on tourism, James Berresford VisitEngland’s Chief Executive said:
“We are delighted that the Government has shown their belief and confidence in the British tourism industry as an economic generator, and in VisitEngland in harnessing that potential through the extension of the Holidays at Home are GREAT campaign. Minister supports move to professional development in events industry
