Today, the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and Hilton HHonors, the award-winning guest-loyalty program for Hilton Worldwide’s 10 distinct hotel brands, announced a new value-add option for meetings industry professionals to engage in PCMA membership. HBAA International Charter celebrates anniversary with new property signings

Independent properties and worldwide hotel chains including IHG, Marriott, and Warwick Hotels’ Royal Windsor, Brussels and Park Hotel, Amsterdam are the latest to join the global list of hotels to have signed the HBAA’s International Charter when the initiative marks its first anniversary.

PATA to host advocacy dinner in House of Commons, London

The Pacific Asia Travel Association’s (PATA) will hold a travel industry advocacy reception and dinner at the House of Commons in London on November 5. Senior spokespeople and lobbyists will attend the dinner, with guest of honour Mr Andrew Rosindell MP, Mr Taleb Rifai, Secretary-General, UNWTO, and keynote speaker Ms Gloria Guevara, Secretary of Tourism, Mexico.
