Events In & Out opens London office
Annamaria Ruffini’s award-winning agency starts off an expansion program in Europe. The new London office is proposed as DMC Italy to some key markets.Events In & Out, the Rome-based event agency of Annamaria Ruffini CMP, starts an ambitious program of territorial expansion in Europe by opening a sales office in London.
This office will be run under MAS Business Ltd by Mariano Genzone, who’s been appointed business development manager, and aims to promote Italy as a venue to a careful selection of foreign markets and agencies.
Prospective clienst will be offered the unique creative and logistical expertise of the agency, which has already had the recognition of the Italian public having won in 2008, the Italia for Events Award for Product/service marketing plan.
A unique recognition which was followed by many others: the President & CEO Annamaria Ruffini CMP won in 2010 the Italian Responsible Tourism Award for two consecutive times (as a co-author of the manual Ecoeventi and as a co-founder and president of the Green Meetings Industry Council Italia Chapter); then, in 2011, she was the first Italian woman to receive both the Master Motivator Award by Site (the international association for motivational events) and the World Tourism Market Global Award, according to the great contribution she’s given to the Italian tourism (recognition which last year she was the only European professional to receive).
Mariano Genzone is an appreciated manager, internationally known in the field of events and business tourism. He was a project manager at the London office of a leading tour operator and previously worked for two years as a manager for industry development at Global research and intelligence network, an Australian development agency operating in 16 countries and working with governments, associations and international NGOs. He has also been marketing executive in the Piedmont region tourism agency between 2005 and 2008, during the 2006 winter Olympic games.
"I am happy and proud of this new success of my agency", says Annamaria Ruffini. "Thanks to Mariano, supported by all the Rome-based staff, we are getting positive feedback from the first markets on which we are focusing, and I am sure we will get more and more in the future. This is just the beginning of our expansion projects: we will soon be opening another office in Europe, with specific objectives and products, as part of a wider program of diversification of our services".
