Arrangers DMC launch new cutting edge SCANVenger Hunt
For their April monthly meeting, The Arrangers DMC provided a cutting edge SCANVenger Hunt to Members of the Denver Chapter of the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE). The SCANVenger Hunt, which took place in the historic LoDo neighborhood of Downtown Denver, was part of a progressive event that took attendees to multiple restaurants throughout the evening while showcasing the new technology."The SCANVenger Hunt platform adds a new high-tech twist to traditional scavenger hunts and provides a way for users to access trivia questions by scanning QR codes with their smartphones," states Nicole Marsh, The Arrangers President & CEO. Players learn more about the destination, each other or their company by accessing questions with answers that can be embedded in video, audio or downloadable PDF documents as well. Once the player answers the question they are then led to the next location.
"What's also great about the technology is that players can view leader board activity and their scores in real time as they play the game," adds Sean Fields, the CEO/President of Ohio-based SCANVenger Hunt. "As an administrator we are also able to see real-time scan activity and poll question results versus the scramble to add up scores at the end of our traditional hunts," adds Marsh.
The Arrangers partnered with SCANVenger Hunt to sponsor the NACE Chapter program. SCANVenger Hunt is a division of Comtactics, a multi- platform design team located on the Tech Town campus in Dayton, Ohio. The company focuses on helping clients communicate with their target audience by using traditional methods as well as emerging media tactics through the Internet and on mobile devices. They have used the SCANVenger Hunt platform for a variety of events including teambuilding, product launches, hotels and resorts, sport venues and mall properties.
The Arrangers, a DMC Network Company, services clients throughout Colorado including Denver, Colorado Springs, Vail, Aspen and other Rocky Mountain Resorts. The 42 year old company provides creative and cost effective solutions for special events, transportation, teambuilding, group tours and meeting logistics.
