National Osteoporosis Society appoint Glasgows to produce annual conference
Leading Northwest events agency Glasgows has secured yet another high profile account win.Following a 3 way pitch, the Preston based agency has been awarded the contract to produce the ‘Osteoporosis and Bone Conference 2012’ which will take place from the 1st-4th July at the Manchester Central Convention Centre. The four day event, hosted by the National Osteoporosis Society, the Bone Research Society and the Paget’s Association brings together clinicians, health professionals and scientists in the area of bone health and will be attended by over 1,000 delegates. Running alongside the conference will be a large trade exhibition and poster area.
Glasgows Head of Business Development George Thompson said “Glasgows have a fantastic history of producing healthcare events and we’re absolutely delighted to be working with the National Osteoporosis Society. The Annual Conference is their largest and most important event of the year and we’ll ensure this is the best yet.”
Thompson added: “Glasgows expansion into the private and third sectors continues at a pace and we’re predicting continued growth throughout 2012. We’ve recently recruited 3 new members to the team and we’re really excited about the opportunities that lie ahead.”
